Inspired by the cocoon like shape that contains maturing butterflies and moths, Chrysalis's oblique angle exposes the interior to accentuate the color contrast. When put in triplicate at alternating angles, this piece also makes for an excellent mini-chandelier.

Dan hand turns each of these pendants from solid maple in his Maryland workshop. The interior and exterior can be different colors.
