This all-acetate concept features its very distinctive “balloon” spherical hinge in titanium, thus inevitably made in Japan (those who know, know), BALLOON frames have a pop dimension to them, and yet remain very chic, shamelessly nodding to the 70s while maintaining a signature look. The resin points on the fronts and temple tips, the rounded backs of the faces, the temples where volumes and lines invert: flats become rounded, round becomes flat, creating an effect that surprises and intrigues.

With different processes at play, BALLOON frames create echoes and correspondences of forms. The square is rounded, the geometries are sculptural, and the whole ensemble has a playful candy-like quality, balanced by sophisticated temples
