This modern challah cover or table mat can be used for every Shabbat. I machine embroidered "Shabbat Shalom" in English and Hebrew with silver thread onto white Kona cotton fabric. This center motif includes an embroidered Hamsa with an evil eye (Chamesh, Hand of Fatima, Hand of Miriam, Hand of G-d).
I then did a log cabin quilted pattern with a beautiful deep blue, blue batik and a lighter blue.
The reverse side is a gorgeous blue and metallic multi-toss Star of David fabric, and is perfect for Yom Tov celebrations.
This one of a kind (OOAK) piece is made completely of 100 % cotton (all preshrunk) as pictured and is machine washable and dry able. You may need to use a light iron.
Dimensions approximate: 20" wide (horizontal width) x 21" high (vertical height)--note this is a diamond shaped challah cover.
This gorgeous reversible Judaica mat makes an awesome centerpiece for any simcha (hostess, housewarming, engagement, wedding) and every Shabbat, and certainly is large enough to cover 2 loaves of challah.
Machine wash and dry (cold recommended, no bleach of any kind), light ironing may be needed.
