This results in a bold scent with a balanced bitterness, acidity and a peppery finish. Combined with Zataar -the beloved middle eastern herb mixture of thyme, oregano, sumac and sesame seeds often paired with olive oil- this candle will transport you to the Mediterranean and the Levant with sun-filled days by the olive mill.

The Memory
This candle is made in loving memory of my beloved Yemma. She always smelled of our farm’s olive oil and used it for everything; from moisturizer to stomach ailment relief, she even used it to treat my eczema. My favorite memory of her is when she taught me how to cook; especially when we made fresh baked Mana’eesh together with her favorite olive oil and zataar.
