"From a rocky chalk site halfway between Sancerre and Bue – and tasted from cask – the 2010 Sancerre rouge Les Marnes intriguingly and alluringly mingles red currant and blood orange both on the nose and on a bright, luscious palate threaded with a faintly rough but not obtrusive ridge of tannin.
