230g unsalted butter

1 tsp salt

1 egg

425g flour

2-3 tsp vanilla extract

175g icing sugar

Cream both the butter and icing sugar, add the vanilla extract and mix well.

Sift together the flour and salt, add to the wet mixture little by little until thick.

Roll the dough with the wooden rolling pin until 1-2cm thick, then pick the silicone sleeve with the message of your choice, and roll over in one smooth movement, moving along the dough as necessary until it’s printed all over with your personalised message.

Cut the biscuits into chosen shape and dust with a little flour. Bake the biscuits at 200ºC for 7-8 minutes until the tops appear golden brown. Enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea…!
