Vococid Etching Liquid is formulated with 36.1% phosphoric acid for the acid-etch technique used in composite fillings, adhesive luting of Maryland bridges, inlays, brackets, and temporary splinting, sealing as caries prophylaxis, and as linings to create a permanent bond with composite materials.

It features a blue color that does not leave a stain for visibility and allows easy identification and removal of excess material. Vococid is available in both gel and liquid consistency, which produces an optimal etching pattern for guaranteed bond strength.
