Our new and exclusive Limited Edition Defender of the Nation Whisky is a tribute to craftsmanship, heritage, and the mighty fortress that is Edinburgh Castle. Distilled at the renowned Tamdhu Distillery in the heart of Speyside, this exceptional whisky has been nurtured for 17 years, developing depth and character in refill oak casks.

To complete its journey, the whisky spent a final year resting in a 1st‑fill, medium‑char European oak Oloroso sherry hogshead, seasoned for 24 months.

Crafted in limited quantity, the whisky opens with a delicate nose of golden syrup and soft vanilla, gently unfolding into deeper layers of rich sherry‑soaked oak. On the palate, these notes harmonise with the warmth of its long maturation, culminating in a smooth, lingering finish that carries both sweetness and subtle spice.
