Our Relora has been formulated to promote relaxation and calmness. Relora is a natural proprietary blend of a patented extract of Magnolia officinalis and Phellodendron amurense. Relora is the result of screening over 50 plant fractions from traditional plant medicines used around the world to treat stress and help relieve stress-related eating. Relora has excellent stress-management properties without causing unwanted sedation or drowsiness. It is thought to help normalize hormone levels associated with stress-induced weight gain and eating habits. Separately, phellodendron contains compounds that seem to exhibit anti-inflammatory and positive cardiovascular effects. Magnolia extract has also been exploited for its anti-inflammatory effects, as well as its effects on the central nervous system. Magnolia also seems to inhibit the conversion of cortisol to cortisone, while increasing the production of corticosterone,a glucocorticoid, which has anti-inflammatory properties.
