Avant-garde musician Joseph Byrd, who studied under John Cage, formed the band with Dorothy Moskowitz/Gordon Marlon/Rand Forbes/Craig Woodson and others to fuse performance art, political thought, and experimental rock Expanded and remastered edition of the self-titled debut album by psychedelic rock band The United States of America, released in December 1967. One of the best albums of the 60's US psychedelic era, with plenty of innovative effects, collages, and electric sounds. Ten bonus tracks from the album's recording sessions will be added to the original 10 tracks. Newly remastered sound sources. Includes a booklet with reissued artwork and new essays.
