This album commemorates the 25th anniversary of the formation of Japan's leading Latin jazz big band "Tropical Jazz Band". The album is a compilation of the band's past works, including Latin arrangements of jazz favorites by Charlie Parker and Duke Ellington, African symphonies familiar to brass bands, and even Jaco Pastorius, as well as a variety of instrumental pieces and original compositions by the band members. Of course, Carlos Sugano's vocals on "THE LADY IS A TRAMP" and "SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME" by The Drifters, both familiar Sinatra favorites, and "CARAVAN" with the wonderful singer CHAKA as a guest, complete the vocal lineup.
