Valerian is a classic nervine herb, which is to say a herb that tones, calms, and heals the nervous system. Clinical trials have found it to be as effective as drugs to bring on sleep and improve sleep quality, but without untoward side-effects.

Ingredients: 360 mg per capsule: A 5:1 concentration, each capsule contains the equivalent of 1800 mg of dried Certified Organic Valerian (Valeriana officinalis, root). Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypromellose (vegicap), certified organic maltodextrin. Alcohol free.

Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Consult a health care practitioner: if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia); if symptoms worsen or persist.
