The duo of Martin Rehl, cello, and Marie-Pierre Langlamée, harp, two world-famous principal cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic, present a collection of Schumann and Schumann-Fauré pieces. Martin Rehl, principal cellist of the Berlin Philharmonic since 1997, and Marie-Pierre Langrame, principal harpist of the Berlin Philharmonic since 1993, both composed a great deal of instrumental and chamber music in Germany and France during the Romantic period and contributed greatly to the development of these genres.
