Description:

The world's first SACD release of Annie Fischer's Mozart recordings with three conductors on the old EMI label in the early stereo era. This is the world's first SACD reissue of Mozart recorded with three conductors on the old EMI label in the early days of stereo. This is the world's first SACD release of Mozart's six concerto recordings made between 1958 and 1966 for the old EMI label. The performances are so perfectly executed with a strong will that they will go down in the annals of recording history. The highly acclaimed masterpieces, even today, have been reproduced in high sound quality using the best possible process to achieve the best possible sound quality! The fresh sound of the SACD is now available on SACD. The master was digitized at 192kHz/24bit from the original analog master tapes in Japan and mastered separately on SACD and CD. New commentary is included. This is a permanent edition. There are many recordings of Mozart, but this performance by Annie Fischer is a kind of isolated recording that has no equal. The value of this recording is constant, and it is certainly present amidst the tension.Known as a perfectionist, she has made very few recordings in comparison to her fame, and all of her recordings are rare and highly acclaimed. Her fidelity to the score and uncompromising approach is evident in all of her recordings, and her recordings are characterized by their thoughtfulness. The finely honed sensitivity and dignified expression of the music are also superb. It is regrettable that Nos. 25 and 26 were not recorded, but these six concertos are masterpieces and deserve to be heard for a long time. It is interesting to note that the conductor is different on each album when they were originally first released, and although each has a different style, the stance of the piano remains the same throughout, which is typical of her. The first recording with Boult in 1958 shows her soft expression, the 1959 recording with Sawallisch shows her rich musicality, and the 1966 recording with Kurz shows her flexibility. The sound quality of the three recordings is different from each other, perhaps because they were recorded in the same place but at different times and by different producers and engineers. However, at that time, remastering was not possible, and DISC 1 and 3 were remastered in 1990, while DISC 2 was digitized in 2004, so there was a noticeable difference in sound quality depending on the age of the CD. This time, they were reissued from the original analog master tapes in their home countries, so the sound quality has been improved to a level that can kick past recordings to the curb. (1/2)
