Fitment: Harley-Davidson part number 36702-08K has two distinct fitment applications: it is the standard equipment (OEM) steel plate for all late-model V-Rods, and it is a performance upgrade component for early-model V-Rods.

This part is the factory-installed steel clutch plate for the following VRSC (V-Rod) models equipped with the "Assist & Slip" slipper clutch from the factory:

V-Rod Night Rod Special: VRSCDX (2008–2017)
V-Rod Muscle: VRSCF (2009–2017)
V-Rod 10th Anniversary Edition: VRSCDX (2012)

Performance Upgrade Fitment (2002–2007)

For earlier V-Rod models, this part is used as part of the Screamin' Eagle Performance Slipper Clutch Kit (P/N 37938-08KA).

This kit allows owners of older bikes to upgrade to the modern slipper clutch technology. It fits:

V-Rod: VRSCA / VRSCB (2002–2005)
V-Rod Night Rod: VRSCD (2006–2007)
V-Rod Screamin' Eagle / CVO: VRSCSE (2005–2006)
V-Rod Street Rod: VRSCR (2006–2007)

Fitment Requirements:

Quantity: A standard service replacement requires seven (7) of these plates.
Stack Configuration: In the "Assist & Slip" assembly, these
36702-08K
plates are used in conjunction with one specific narrow steel plate (
P/N 38841-08K
) and the friction plate set.
Exclusions: This part is exclusive to the Revolution engine (V-Rod) platform and does not fit air-cooled Big Twin models (Touring, Softail, Dyna) or Sportster models.
