[The "Mozart: Piano Sonata Series" by Mitsuko Uchida was launched following the great success of a series of Mozart piano sonata concerts held in London in May and June 1982. Her recording of the complete works won the Gramophone Magazine Record of the Year Award in 1989. This disc includes the "Turkish March with" and "Sonatine" from that series, plus two minor masterpieces." Uchida, who says, "I try to give a live performance," gives a masterful performance with a polished touch and nuanced playing. Rubidium clock cutting.
