An unusual and ornate 19th century brass hat and coat rack with four swiveling hooks with porcelain heads and four sliding hooks on the lower rail. The upper and lower rails are reeded, the swivelling hooks decoratively cast, as are the centre column and end pieces which all terminate with finials. The condition is very good and the rack is ready to hang, Whilst serving a practical purpose in the hall, this antique hat and coat rack is a decorative piece in its own right.
