DESCRIPTION

The SmithCo SX6-53-40 (Model SX6U) is a heavy-duty side dump trailer engineered for maximum hauling efficiency in construction, mining, and aggregate operations. Built with a 53-foot frame and a 40-foot SX-round bottom tub, it delivers up to 35.6 cubic yards heaped capacity.

Constructed from 3/16" AR450 steel on both sides and floor, the tub is designed for durability and long service life. Equipped with Ridewell RW260 air ride suspension, steerable lift axles, and hydraulic 6" cylinders, the SX6U ensures reliable dumping performance and smooth transport.

Additional features such as AERO mesh tarp, large liquid-filled air gauge, grease banks for hydraulic cylinders, and tarp lockout switch make this trailer both rugged and operator-friendly.
