The original Lady and the Unicorn tapestries are the most celebrated set that have survived from the medieval period. They consist of six which can now be found in the Cluny Museum, Paris. These tapestries depict the five human senses and the sixth is called "To My Only Desire".

This 'Sense of Hearing' tapestry extract shows the Lady playing a medieval pipe organ, depicting one of the senses.
