Violinist Chase Sprille's new recording, A Common Time, includes the world premiere recording of Philip Glass's Sarabande in Common Time (2016) for solo violin. It is the second full album dedicated to the composer and includes a selection of his works for solo violin and new transcriptions by Sprille. These new recordings include the iconic music from the films "The Candyman" and "Nakoykazi," as well as music from Glass's stage works ("A Madrigal Opera," "Screen" - Afternoon Waltz) and pure instrumental music such as "Arabesque in Memoriam".
