Digimon are the Champions

Digimon, short for "Digital Monsters" is a Japanese media franchise encompassing virtual pet toys, anime, manga, video games, films and a trading card game. The franchise focuses on Digimon creatures, which are monsters living in a "Digital World", a parallel universe that originated from Earth's various communication networks. Created in 1997 as a series of virtual pets, the creatures were first designed to look cute and iconic even on the devices' small screens; later developments had them created with a harder-edged style influenced by American comics.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Monster Hunters series, these popular '90s toys have been recreated in full LCD colour and combine the Digimon/Digital Monster COLOUR with Monster Hunter! The Rathalos colour version features a colour scheme modelled after Rathalos.

These Digital Monster devices feature monsters from the Monster Hunter universe and fusion monsters such as RathalosGreymon, combining Rathalos, Greymon, and JinougaRurumon, a cross between Jinouga and Garurumon. The device features a rechargeable battery and USB type-C charging cable.

Not only do the characters appear in colour, but the background designs can also change with this new design!
