Mixed media OOAK art doll: aid dry clay, cheesecloth fabric, velvet, vintage lace, calico, metal bell, wire. Set on a wood base. 

The arms are posable but please don’t bend from the hand, always from the middle of the arm. The body (not posable) is made of white, needle-felted Corriedale Top, over a wire armature (to give them the right shape), wrapped in cheesecloth fabric and decorate with vintage lace and a metal bell. The mushroom cup is made of velvet and calico, finished with French knots.

Head and hands are sculpted in air dry clay, painted with acrylics, chalks and gold leaves and sealed with matte varnish. My dolls are never smooth as I welcome imperfections and rough surfaces and visible stitches are always a feature.

The wooden base is painted and varnished.
