Description:

NOTE: 1.5V constant voltage AAA batteries or a Lipo mod is advised for this mod to work correctly with a Game Boy Pocket console, this is due do the lower available voltage from AAA batteries vs AA batteries found in other game boy models.

The Hispeedido IPS backlight screen kit for Game Boy Pocket offers a modern bright display with enhanced viewing angles, plus a range or additional built in features.

Features include 36 different color pallets, adjustable brightness controls, on screen display (OSD) menu giving access to vertical and horizontal screen position adjustment, battery level indicator and a pixel effect mode.

You can use this kit with without soldering, however you will not be able to access some of the additional features such as the OSD without soldering some wires.

The screen picture is 11% larger than the original and retains the correct aspect ratio, a modified IPS ready glass lens will be required to use this larger display (Lens not included).

Shell modification is required to install this screen, you can trim a shell, or you can purchase an IPS ready shell from a wide range of shells compatible with this kit.
