What to Expect?
This book is complete with sessions that coaches can use to develop their team's ability to finish within countless different finishing positions. The book looks at using evidence-based coaching methods to understand the habits of top-level goal scorers and then use this to support session design for coaches at all levels. The book contains a mixture of unopposed finishing practices, combination play practices and opposed finishing practices. This provides coaches with an opportunity to work between realism and repetition to provide a great balance of learning for attacking players. 

Sessions
Each session is designed to support the development of individual players, this type of practice design allows the player to be at the heart of the session. This allows for more specific adaptation by players and a greater link to players' individual development plans. Each session can be performed as part of a full coaching session or an individual session. The practices are adaptable, and so, this allows coaches to apply these practices to players with a variety of skill sets and experiences. 

Session Background
Over the last 12 months, this book has been developed with the support of Elite coaches and position-specific coaches working within the finishing phase of the game. Collectively this book has been produced with the one aim of improving session design for coaches and players when working within the final third. The sessions require little to no equipment for most, often requiring just players, balls and cones.
