Playful fleshy apple and cherry on the nose, Perrine Fresne Sarmate has a precise and focused delivery. It keeps the trajectory on the palate with some lovely lemon peel notes. It's really layered with an interesting sandy, chalky texture and a long finish. The perfect balance between complexity and freshness creates a vibrant and distinctive drinking experience.

Producer

Based in the village of Sermiers, in the south of the Petite Montagne de Reims, Perrine is one of the very few independent winemakers in a village dominated by a co-operative. Sarmate is her debut cuvée and really shows her potential.
