About the artist:  My name is Marie Charrois and I am the creator of the Little Bird Of Paradise. I live in the south of England and currently spend my time between my family and making new artworks for The Little Bird.

I love to work with textiles because I find it a fascinating medium to convey beauty and emotions. As you can can see when looking at my creatures, I aim to show how beauty can be found in the smallest details as well as in the weirdest and roughest makes. Although I am never looking for perfection in my creations, I am still working with great care to achieve the results that I want and love.
