A new piano man is born, reminiscent of Leon Russell and early Billy Joel! An album that will move your heart. John Fulbright is a singer-songwriter who was born in 1988 in Okemah, Oklahoma. Raised on a farm, he began playing piano at age 5 and performed at the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival while still in high school. After dropping out of college, he studied with local star Mike McClure to become a musician. After performing as a member of the Turnpike Troubadours, he went solo in 2008 and released the critically acclaimed album "Live at the Blue Door" in 2009.Their first studio album, "From the Ground Up," was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Americana Album and an Americana Music Award, and received rave reviews from NPR and many other media outlets. In 2014, they released their second album, Songs, and toured the world. In 2014, they released their second album, "Songs," and toured around the world.
