Description:
The "English Civil War" that broke out in England in the 17th century was a military conflict between the English Knight's Party (the King's Party) and the Parliamentary Party (the Round Table Party) in the Puritan Revolution, and is known for its long duration and exhaustion throughout the country. This album is a collection of works inspired by the "Siege of York," which took place in 1644, and combines several pieces, mainly Rose's Psalms, which were inspired by the "Siege of York," in which the city was besieged by the enemy but held out for a long time. The music traces the turbulent period of political, social, and religious turmoil. Naxos Japan
