Goat Girl
Description:
Goat Girl, a four-piece band from South London's Avenue Windmill, which has produced a string of exciting bands such as Shame, Idols, Soley, and Black Country New Road, has released its long-awaited second album! The album was produced in early 2020 by Dan Carey, who is well-known for his work with Franz Ferdinand and has recently been involved with a number of up-and-coming bands of the new generation, including Black Midi, Squid, and Fonteynes D.C., and whose skills as a compass for the scene have been once again on the rise. This work was produced in early 2020. The album features the psychedelic, bluesy, DIY charm of the girls, praised by post-punk priest Mark E. Smith, and the euphoric synth sounds of house and techno in the preceding single "Sad Cowboy," a 4/4 beat with a grungy, subversive guitar riff and sci-fi keyboards, and a submerged, immersive sound that makes use of pauses. The Crack", with its 4/4 beat, grungy and subversive guitar riffs, and immersive arrangement that utilizes keyboards and pauses, is one of the 13 songs on this album that, in addition to the bewitching scent and lyricism of the past, has acquired a new musical language that is dynamic and contrasting. The Japanese CD includes a commentary, bilingual lyrics, and additional bonus tracks.
