1/200 QANTAS Douglas Dc-4 - VH-EDB "Norfolk Trader"
Originally built for the US Air Force in 1944, the aircraft first landed on Australian soil in 1949 when it was sold to Qantas Empire Airways. In 1961 it was re-registered to the identifier VH-EDB and given the baptismal name "Norfolk Trader". This DC-4 was mainly used on routes from mainland Australia to Norfolk Island, a small group of islands some 1,400 km east of the Australian coast until it was finally sold in 1977.
This Die-cast metal airplane model comes in 1/200 scale with landing gear and plastic stand. Model is approximately 5 ½ inches long with 7-inch wingspan.
