The BRK(TM) is a 3-in-1 120 V A/C hardwired detector that combines a smoke and carbon monoxide alarm with a 177 CD LED strobe light for the hearing impaired in a compact package. The Smart strobe flashes differently for smoke and CO detection. The detector is equipped with a 10-year sealed lithium battery, eliminating battery changes and nuisance beeps due to low batteries for the entire life of the detector. Its built-in photoelectric smoke sensor reduces nuisance alarms from cooking smoke or shower steam. It also utilizes an electrochemical carbon monoxide detector for increased accuracy.
