*minor improved factory defect* 2X Heatwave.V-5e Tie Dye on a Tultex 291 Ringspun Cotton Long Sleeve Shirt that was dyed using the "Pariah Method": The item was not presoaked in Soda Ash solution. The Procion Dyes were applied to the tied-up shirt and then a strong soda ash solution was applied after the dye was applied. It was then "batched" as normal for 48 hours before washout. This one has a glow in the dark HTV Dave's Dyes ambigram logo ironed on to the bottom hem. Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Wash with like colors in cold water for first few washes. *scratch and dent special*

* I noticed a little "run" that ended in a very tiny hole in the fabric on the back, center, about 2.5" from the bottom This was patched, on the inside, with fusible bonding web and fabric stabilizer.
Again, this is just a minor imperfection that I noticed and my OCD mind needs to have things as perfect as possible. When you spend so much time working on a particular piece, you tend to notice things that would otherwise go unnoticed. See pics. I knocked back $10

This piece of tie dye artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity, printed on quality parchment paper for certificates, by default from Dave's Dyes. From now on (starting 5/11/25), any newly created item priced at $150 or greater, will include a certificate of authenticity which will have information about the work, a photograph (at least one) of the piece and will have a unique identifier that will be written somewhere on the art with archival quality ink and will match the identifier on the certificate. Both will also include the artist's signature. Certificates of Authenticity are also available for work done prior and for items marked at lower than $150, upon request. I’ll try to make it an option on my stores. For now, message me to request one.
