Kiln drying logs in 40ft container, wet system kit, fast drying.

The wet kiln system consists of a very efficient 50kW log boiler with 1000 litre buffer tank and a 70kW or two 50kW moisture resistant unit heaters blowing hot or cold air.

Ideal set up for use in a 40 foot container converted into a kiln, drying and seasoning fire wood or wood for use in building and furniture making.

Also available is the additional heat recuperation system for when the hot air is being extracted the heat is used to preheat fresh cold air entering the container.

Kit consists of DWBi boiler, buffer tank, unit heater heating and circulating hot air with thermostat and fan speed controller. 

You will need flue, 2 or 3 pumps, (depending on the kit) plumbing pipe and few connectors and valves.

Kit runs off of 13A supply, total consumption of the set up is min 55W max peak 770W and can be run in remote locations using solar power supply system.

The container kiln wood seasoning and drying kit, gives a user long refill times, low manual input, plenty of heat and strong air movement, key hallmarks of a system that will see logs drying time reduced to around 2-3 days.

Expect to refill the boiler 3-4 times on day one, then 2-3 of times per day on the 2 days that follow. Expectations are based on feedback from customers as well as container being well insulated with moisture extraction system.

A heat recovery recuperation system can also be installed to increase efficiency further.
