Our soft wheat is a great wheat to have on hand. This wheat has less protein in it and is commonly used to make pastries. Because of the less protein, soft wheat has less gluten in it. It is not great for breads, but is great for pastries. This is a must have for your long term food storage staples.

Shelf Life: Should be stored in cool dark place, optimum condition is 60 degrees or less for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store 30 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.
This wheat has less protein in it which causes it to have less gluten. This wheat can be grounded up for flour and it is great for using the flour in cookies, cakes, and pastries.
