Viticultural Notes:The grapes for this wine come from a single vineyard in Gembrook in the Upper Yarra Valley. Whilst known for its volcanic derived red soils, this vineyard sits on a granite outcrop. These quartz red soils are perfect for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. After several warm growing seasons, 2017 was a return to a classic Yarra Valley harvest producing balanced, elegant wines with wonderful natural acidity.
