Unlike the four-legged AT-AT, the AT-ST was used during the battle of Endor during Return of the Jedi in addition to a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo appearance on Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back, and more recently in The Mandalorian series. As a part of the famed Ultimate Collector's Series, this newly released LEGO set brings back and updates the since-retired and smaller 2006 release of the same Imperial intimation hardware. Up nearly 50% in piece count over the 2006 release that now goes for upwards of a grand on the secondary market, the latest addition to the LEGO Star Wars UCS line is 1,513 pieces of technical challenge even experienced LEGO builders will appreciate. Standing at over a foot tall when built, it has a hatch at the top that allows access to the two-person cockpit, a turnable version of the iconic AT-ST "head", and a buildable display plaque complete with a unique-to-this-set AT-ST Driver minifigure.
