This time using the Meermin Exclusive Heritage Shell Cordovan: something really unique that we've been working for a long time until we got it just right. The Classic Shell Cordovan, tanned the traditional way exclusively made for us.

As we did for the Waxy Shell Cordovan, launched a few weeks ago, we've worked exclusively with American shells—tanned by traditional vegetable tanning expert & family owned tannery, to develop this article exclusively made for Meermin. Shell Cordovan is one of the most sought-after leathers in the shoemaking industry, and that is simply because it is so good.

The Heritage Shell Cordovan is tanned the old way; full vegetable, slow pit tanned, air dried and hand finished resulting in an extremely dense while pliable leather, with a very transparent & unique finish that characterizes Shell Cordovan leather.

Goodyear welted on the ROD last, the perfect fit for our new (ULTRAFLEX SYSTEM). The ROD last features soft & casual lines that perfectly fit this new Chelsea Boot's style. Keeping the casual look from our HOK last, but adjusted to be able to accommodate the double insole system during production, without affecting the overall fit. We do recommend taking the same size you wear on the HOK last, for a good fit and an almost non-existent break in.

Also, introducing The City Lug rubber sole; our newest addition to our rubber sole range; made using a new and more substantial compound featuring a lower lug pattern, providing excellent resistance to wear and exceptional traction while keeping a very proportionate look.
