Is a non-toxic water-based single pack pure acrylic rubberized waterproof coating with excellent elongation and elasticity with high build. Excelsior Rubberlastic can be used on its own to build a high film thickness for water-proofing and bridging properties, it can also be used in conjunction with water-proofing membrane to assist with bridging of cracks and to cover parapet wall overlaps.

Excelsior Rubberlastic has excellent UV resistance and water repellent properties and has a 12 year life expectancy it does not need to be top-coated. Excelsior Rubberlastic provides elongation over 3 times its original film and recovers back to its original form. Low V.O.C., low odour and lead free.

It is suitable for the following uses:

• Excellent adhesion to a variety of roof substrates (cement roof tiles, fibre cement roof sheets, asbestos sheeting, concrete, plaster and wood).
• Waterproofing flat roofs, parapets, wall and chimney capping’s, gutters and roof screws.
• Suitable for sealing a wide variety of surfaces i.e. concrete, plaster, asbestos roof sheeting, dry-walling (fibre cement) and I.B.R. and galvanized iron roof sheeting.
• Can also be used for sealing small plaster cracks, lap joints and flashings of roof sheeting that are subjected to structural movement. Used in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
• Limited use for areas with continual submersed water (i.e. water features or ponds).
• Suitable to apply above existing water-based acrylic systems (membrane/ and non-membrane types).
• Suitable for over-coating with other water-based systems (i.e. Excelsior Premium Satin Roof Acrylic).
• Safe to use for harvesting rainwater (not for drinking water)
• Provides corrosion protection on properly primed metal substrates
