Play right on the threshold of feedback, which you can mold as a low thundering growl or screeching wail, or let your echo slowly die out as the dynamic output filter gets darker every repeat.

Dark Tape-Like Analog Delay

Meet Maude, Fairfield Circuitry's characteristically dark analog delay pedal. Unlike many analog delays, which promote clarity and brightness, Maude imparts a brooding, distinctly dark tape-like quality to any audio signal that passes through its cavernous depths. The random delay time modulation adds a true tape feel to the delay, like a reel-to-reel motor spinning not quite perfectly.

Shaped Repeats and True Tape Feel

Repeats can be shaped beyond all recognition using the pedal's tone and feedback controls. Consequently, repeats can be configured to occur in tandem with the feedback threshold, or synchronized with the output filter for a much slower death that gets progressively darker with each repeat. The pedal's delay possesses a true tape feel thanks in part to its random delay time modulation, which lends the effect of a broken reel-to-reel motor.

Full CV Capabilities

Full CV capabilities allow you to control delay time and/or feedback with any external source, like an expression pedal. Its integrated CV compatibility is the icing on the cake, as its delay time and feedback can be governed by any external source, providing even more flexibility and creative control.
