Designed by Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon in 2013, the Fritz Hansen Ro Lounge Chair is named after the Danish word for 'tranquillity'. The chair is softly sculpted and formed to match the curves of the body. Its design, free of sharp edges or roughness, invites you to sit down, relax, and reflect. The Ro Lounge Chair balances aesthetics and functionality, ensuring that neither is compromised.

The shell is constructed from hard polyurethane foam with an embedded steel frame, fibre reinforcement of the edges, and a wooden frame reinforcement in the seating area. The seat cushion is made of moulded PUR foam to provide comfort, while the back cushion comprises two slices of soft foam with lumbar support, offering ergonomics and comfort.

The design of the shell is elegant and simple, pleasing to both the eye and the body, and promises tranquillity in both its visual appearance and comfortable functionality. Furthermore, the form of the shell allows you to choose between engaging in the room's activities or relaxing in your own private space. The Ro Lounge Chair is available in two different types of upholstery - single or mixed, for the shell and seat - and comes in two base options: brushed aluminium and clear lacquered oak.
