Gee, this is a good wine from 2018. Red fruits, almond, a savoury and earthy component, mint, along with nutmeg and cinnamon. It’s full-bodied, but fresh and vibrant, cherry and almond, a subtle liquorice root flavour, with a fine hazelnut skin grip to tannin, has a quiet earthiness too, and the finish offers a tea-like perfume and plenty of length. Also some orange peel. Distinct ‘mineral’ character to it as well. Very good.
