CO-5 is a deep, fluid glaze with shifting
violet undertones and large rainbow
crystals at cone 6. Crystals are smaller,
and more condensed at cone 5.

o Less variation from cone 5 to cone 6
o Stability similar to CO-8 Dark Star

All Cosmos:

o Ideal skill level: Advanced
▪ Ideal for customers who have experience with brushing glazes and know how to apply based on runniness and thickness of a glaze.
o Apply to one side to help with off-gassing
o Fire to cone 5 with a 20-30 minute hold to get to a cone 6 to help prevent blistering
o Utilize up-down schedule
o Clay Bodies most compatible with: 11M, 16M, Porcelain. Not tested on speckled clay bodies.
