It almost feels like Spring this morning, despite an old tattered blanket of white across my landscape and every tree as bare as a bone.  But I can sense a change and dream of the warm summer sun on my back, with my gardens calling me to work.  Maybe this is the year I can get MY GARDENS just the way I want ... I WISH.

With a fabric as glorious as this one, the need to add embellishment just didn’t seem necessary.  Yes, our signature pintucks do highlight the front and back bodice, our special hemline finish, and the back sash to tie into a pretty bow.  And yes, the neckline is hand finished with self-fabric binding, as the fabric for our covered buttons are carefully cut.  But it’s this fabric, so cheerful and lovely, that makes this dress a ‘statement’ piece ... and she’s never too early to learn!
