Our buttermilk pancake mix is the perfect way to begin your morning. Mix in your favorite ingredients like chocolate chips, bananas, or apples to spruce up your morning.  This mix can also be used to make a great quiche, cobbler or crepes. Pancakes are just a great way to have a hearty breakfast. This is a delicious addition to your long term storage needs!

Packaging: This item is packed inside a Mylar bag and then that bag is put inside a 5-gallon pail. If your pail arrives "sucked in," this can be normal due to changes in elevation during transit. If this happens to your bucket simple open the seal to the lid to "reinflate" the pail, then put the lid back on. This will NOT shorten the shelf life of the product as it doesn't affect the Mylar bag and will still keep rodents out.

Shelf Life: Should be stored in cool dark place, optimum condition is 60 degrees or less for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store 3-5 years.

Directions: Add 3 1/3 cups pancake mix to 2 1/2 cups cold water.  Do not over mix.  Add more water if needed for desired consistency.  Preheat oiled skillet or griddle-375 F.  Cook pancakes 1 1/4 -1 1/2 minutes per side or until golden brown.  Turn only once.   For waffles add 3 tbs. of oil.

Please Note: Because of the leavening in these mixes, they may begin to expand in the can. When you use the product it may require adding a small amount of baking powder to mix. No absorber is placed in the bucket as it reacts with the leavening. Water level may vary on desired thickness of pancakes.
