What kind of oil should I use with the TekDanix?
You can simply use standard cosmetic baby oil (such as Johnson's Baby Oil). Add 10ml of baby oil into the detector for the first use, and you're ready to perform tests.

Do I need to connect an external air compressor?
No, you don't. The TekDanix features a built-in high-performance air pump. This means you can complete your diagnostics anywhere without hauling extra compressed gas equipment.

How does the overheat protection function?
The detector is built with an intelligent safety sensor. If it exceeds the normal working temperature threshold of 75°C, it automatically cuts power to prevent engine/tool damage and will restart once cooled down.

How fast does it generate diagnostic smoke?
It is extremely rapid! Once hooked to your DC 12V automotive battery and switched on, the internal system generates thick, dense diagnostic smoke within 30 seconds.
