In recent years, it has become a popular way to shorten shift throw and reduce knob height without changing the shifter itself. The core problem with most counter thunk knobs is that they don't fit well into the shift boot. This means bending the shift boot and exposing the shift lever. ACUiTY's POCO knob is the answer with its low height and built-in shift boot collar. That combination allows for a very low shift knob height combined with a clean-fit shift boot. POCO sits much lower than most stock and aftermarket knobs. Most knobs are approximately 25mm (1 inch) or more above the actual shift lever. POCO is only 3-4mm higher than the top of the shift lever when installed. POCO's low profile is typically 5%-10% shorter than a non-countersunk knob, making shifts feel shorter and stiffer. POCO's boot collar attaches to the shift boot using low profile cable ties (included with each kit). Lower the knob until it stops on the shift lever.
