This ceramic lamp was inspired by the pearl, with its extraordinary luster and shape. Its drop-shaped body tapers at the neck, where the rich glaze reveals - just slightly - red undertones which give depth to the white glaze belly. The ceramic body is capped with brass, supported by a hand-carved gilt base. Perfect for both neutral interiors and those with lots of color in need of a more subdued element.

The gilded base follows the tradition of applying gold leaf atop a warm layer of reddish clay bole. Red will peek through the gilding in some instances, adding warmth to the overall finish.
