This small elegant statue depicting Hercules, a key figure of mythology, immortalises one of the most famous God in Roman history. Called Heracles by the Greeks and Hercules by the Romans, he was the only hero honoured in the whole of the antique world and the only human given immortality by the Gods. He protects athletes and prevents danger. The small statue shows him standing on an aged hand-made sandstone column. Made with an antique bronze patina, composite material and sandstone base.
