If you've ever installed a rocker stud in a cylinder head and seen it wobble like it's screwed into you, you knew all along that the rocker geometry was inconsistent all over the place. . ARP rocker studs are available from .005 T.I.R. thread pitch to thread pitch. The straight-in length is precisely designed to provide a positive sitting comfort every time. Extra large radius base provides flexible resistance. Both High Performance and Pro Series models are available. Note: Do not use with OEM style self-locking nuts. Used with ARP's patented Perma-Loc adjusters. High performance series is 8740 chrome moly forged and heat treated to 180,000psi. E.T. Bracket racing, limited rules oval track competition and street use. Ground flush on tip for optimal adjuster seating. The PRO Series is designed for competition use. ARP's Pro Series Rocker Arm Studs are constructed from premium grade 8740 chrome-moly steel and heat treated to a tensile strength of 200,000 psi. Important Technical Note It is highly recommended that you determine the optimal rocker arm stud length for your specific application. This is especially true when long pushrods and valves are employed. Rocker arm mounting height must be increased to compensate for longer than stock components.
