Which Thickness Do I Need?

Xtreme (6.0mm) — $60 is our thickest protection for serious conditions. If you're regularly pushing through scrub, driving rough station tracks, working in hail-prone regions, or your dish is mounted low where it cops more debris — this is the one. Double the thickness of competing 3mm covers.

Standard (4.5mm) — $50 suits most Australian travellers on sealed roads, well-maintained dirt roads, and occasional gravel. If your dish isn't taking direct hits from branches or heavy debris, Standard provides excellent protection at a lower price.

Both versions share the same critical 10mm air gap that prevents thermal shutdown, use identical UV-stabilised clear polycarbonate that won't affect your signal, and include all mounting hardware. The only difference is thickness and weight (426g vs 534g).
